The Program of Cooperation and Solidarity has shown the Master Plan of international cooperation, in virtual session, on the 3 of December in the 19:30, with the assistance of Mr. Manel Vila, director of the Catalan Agency of Cooperation to the Development, Mr. David Minoves, director of the Fons Català de Cooperació al Desenvolupament, Mr. Xavier López, director of the UB Solidarity Foundation, Mrs. Sariñena, Deputy Mayor of the area of Participation and Relations Civic and representative of the entities of our city, all they have been part of the participative process of elaboration of the Plan Directive during this year 2020. This process has allowed us to identify the main potentiality and challenges of the cooperation of L'Hospitalet, as well as to discuss the policy about the goals and priorities about which to orientate.
This Master Plan of international cooperation wants to reflect, the master lines of this public policy for the next years, and of the other one, on a part to consolidate the firm appointment to the city with the cooperation, social justice and the world-wide development. The will is to achieve the maximum consensus of all actors of the city to soon be able to approve of the actions of cooperation for the global social justice promoted from the town it in the Plenum of the consistory that helps us to planning.
This new plan for period 2020-2023, gives a fundamental importance to Agenda 2030 and is attentive to the context generated as a result of the world-wide pandemic. Both, propose the need to rethink to the model of social relations and with the nature, and the Master Plan of international cooperation which we want to display assumes these challenges.
Presentation of the exhibition: Xauen, the blue city. A path of the sostenibilitat . It is a matter of an itinerant exhibition, with which the Program of Cooperation and Solidarity, of the Town Council of L'Hospitalet, tells 2020 to the campaign of the European Local Solidarity Days 2020, which aims to raise awareness of the role local governments play a role in achieving global sustainable development and promoting informed and active citizenship in relation to the challenges posed by this development.
On Monday 16 November, at 18 hr, you can enjoy the exhibition virtual " Apie of fence- Border South".
The photographic exhibition of the journalist José Antonio Sempere, is a sample that portrays the hard reality of the persons who attempt to jump the fence of the Spaniard south border search of opportunities and of a better life. The exhibition has been carried out in collaboration with the Foundation Josep Comaposada- Sindicalistes Solidaris. During the act a visit will be made virtual of the exhibition.
This is set in the European Days of the Local Solidarity (EDLS), a campaign coordinated by the net PLATFORMA, that it has like goals to introduce the role that the local governments play in the achievement of the sustainable development and to promote a briefed and active citizenship in relation to the challenges that this development brings up.
