    The book Xauen, historiogràfic itinerary through the vision of its travellers , is shown in the Centre Cultural Tecla Sala.

    The book it shows us, the city of Xauen , placed in the west of the Moroccan, capital Rif of the province of Xauen. It belongs to the region of Tànger-Tetuán-Alhucemas. Shawen is the form abbreviated (unofficial) of the name of the city, which he passed to the Spaniard initially like Xauen, coming from the French name Chaouen. The maps and panels of road indicate the French Shifshawen in Arab and Chefchaouen. The city was set up in 1471 in the Berber placement of a small population. Its original population was compound especially for exiles of 'to the-Ándalus, so much Muslim how Jews, reason why the ancient part of the city has an appearance very similar to that of the Andalusian people, with small alleys of irregular outline and whitewashed homes (frequently with blue tones).

    The book Brújulas sobre África, was shown in line yesterday, on day 19 of April. In the presentation he intervened Nicolás Cortés, director of the Program of Cooperation of the Town Council of L'Hospitalet and the represented ones of the entity Africaye, since it is a joint edition.

    The book is a publication that pretèn an approach more objective to the African reality, with the help of the social sciences, the history, the economics or the political science,.

    Presentation of the exhibition Xauen, the blue city, to the Library Tecla Sala . Xauen, saintly city of the mountains of the Rif, an architectural pleasure of the North of Morocco, cultural and religious center of irradiation where a big part of its urban planning and of its company its andalusí past has come off reflected.
    Of the pictures of Ahmed Balamine Alami, who configures this itinerant exhibition, Sala will be able to be enjoyed again in the Key Library.
