    These are the people who will make up the jury of the twelfth edition of the MetropoL'His GlobaL'H Festival!

    Gemma Gimeno Font

    Social Worker (UB), lover of cinema and with a high degree of visual aesthetics. Fundamental piece of MetropoL'His GlobaL'H with a clear and firm vision of which the festival fear to be. Works for Youth for Equality and Solidarity with different projects aimed at youth throughout Catalonia. Co-coordinates the Festival efficiently and effectively contributing ideas and resources to continue growing this adventure. Passionate about Judo and brave like few others, she's here to stay!

    Mireia Bofill Melero

    Social and cultural anthropologist with a master's degree in Ethnographic Research and Social Intervention (UAB) and cinephile! He has worked in the field of cultural programming and education and has a strong commitment to the defense of Human Rights. He was responsible for the Docu + documentary series at the Sandaru Park Civic Center. He is currently co-director of the MetropoL'His GlobaL'H Festival and participates in other socio-educational projects of the entity Youth for Equality and Solidarity for young people of Hospitalet.

    Laia Pajuelo Sans

    Social Educator (UB); Master in Studies of Sexual Difference (DUODA, UB), Entrepreneur of type! Also trained in cinematographic direction, former president of Youth for Equality and Solidarity where she worked in various socio-educational projects for young people and adults. He coordinated the MetropoL'His GlobaL'H Festival from I to X edition and vainly co-coordinated the last eleventh edition to give way to a younger and fresher direction. Author of the Bloc Mulier Sapiens is thrilled with poetry, photography and train travel, loves the festival and will always take care of it.

    Cristian Alcázar Esteban

    Deputy Mayor of the Area of ??Welfare and Social Rights - Sports and Youth and Councilman of District II Collblanc-La Torrassa of the city of Hospitalet. Lover of good movies, and good movies made by the youth of his city, works to make the projects come true. He has participated in previous editions as a jury and supports the proposal of Youth for Equality and Solidarity, trusting that it is an attractive quality proposal for the city of Hospitalet.

    Nicolás Cortés Rojano

    Born in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat and graduated in History for the UB, tea a post-degree in Anthropology, in the specialty of African History. He finished his studies in Drawing and Graphic Design in Barcelona and worked in the newspaper "El Noticiero Universal" as a cartoonist. He was director of the magazine of the 'H "Progress" and director and founder of the union cooperation magazine "SUR". He is the director of the Cooperation and Solidarity Program of L'Hospitalet City Council and promoter of the GlobaL'H: Short Development Cooperation Festival since its inception.

    Amadeo Rojo Morientes

    Youth Technician at L'Hospitalet Town Hall; Formed in Social Education and with a Postgraduate Degree in Smart Social City, he is an indispensable collaborator of the Festival since the first edition. In addition, he is a cultural, poet and music manager. Your criteria and young spirit has accompanied us every year.

    Jordi Mèlich

    Graduate in Information Sciences at the UAB in 1991. He currently works at Torre Barrina, Municipal Center for Multimedia Creation of L'Hospitalet, in the management of contents, in the promotion of equipment, tutoring activities and giving classes in communication He also collaborates in the "Tot Gira" program of Catalunya Ràdio and in the Sport newspaper. He has worked in different municipal radio and television stations, but the bulk of his work has been in Ràdio i Televisió de L'Hospitalet as a sports coordinator. He has also collaborated on Ràdio Barcelona, ??Cadena Ser, Europa Press, Mundo Deportivo, Marca, EFE Agency and El Periódico. He was also a member of the writing of the COOB 92. He is a person closely linked to L'Hospitalet due to his long career in the Public Media, to act as head of the press in different events in the city and also as a presenter of different institutional acts. In teaching, he has spent two years teaching sports journalism and radio news at the International University of Catalonia. Will be part of the jury of GlobaL'H in this fourth edition.

    Marta de Muga Salleras

    Degree in Journalism from the Autonomous University of Barcelona with a Master's in International Documentary for the ECIB. Co-director and head of communication of the Inclús, International Festival of Cinema and Disability of Barcelona. She is author of several documentaries with a tour of festivals in Brazil and Europe. He is currently co-director of the audiovisual production company, Fish Muvi, and is currently immersed in a feature-length documentary about paralympic sports.

    Adriana Pérez Villa

    Journalist specializing in the documentary. He has carried out several documentary projects. Co-director and head of contents of the Inclús, International Festival of Cinema and Disability of Barcelona, ??was the audiovisual director of the Bravo cultural magazine! Girona and is currently in the postproduction of documentary 4RIO.

    Santi Planet Garcia

    Doctor in Information Technology and Communication from the Ramon Llull University, Telecommunications Engineer, professor, film enthusiast and audiovisual creator. Author of several shorts and specialist in shooting against the clock and with recurrence

    This exhibition intends to near the idea about the Objectiivos del Desarrollo Sostenible like a great process of coherence in the policies of cooperation. The institutions have to alienate with the citizenship, in an effective way, in the eradication of the miseries and dangers that the Humanity suffers.
    The paper of public policy and of coordination of needs in these SDGs is specially outstanding. However the axis of the exhibition is its deployment in the municipal world. We want to show the growth of the cities and the demographic bypasses. From here, the exhibition focuses on three sections of the SDGs. In particular the 3rd, the 4th and the 11th that they turn in relation to the attention and sanitary prevention, the education and the importance of the cities as an institutional axis and of human development. We set forth also the symmetry among our Directive Plan H 2016-19 "International Cooperation is Global Justice" with the mentioned axes of the Goals Sustainable Development.
    The program includes talks and debates in secondary education and broadcast in the academic area and university student, as well as, in media of the municipal area.

    This Thursday, October 26th, at the EMMCA facilities, the last commemorative workshop will be held to highlight this edition of "Approach to Sub-Saharan Africa" and we will have the presence of Regidor Senyor Quiros this weekend. One of the props of the Master Plan L'H 2016-19, International Cooperation is Global Justice of our municipality is Sensitization. This includes the dissemination and pedagogical work, both from the sociopolitical and geographic as well as the associative point of view; nevertheless we can not forget the cultural facet. It is in this last frame where the workshop "Approximation to dance and African music" is held by the Djumbai Association, an organization specializing in cooperation in sub-Saharan Africa, specifically Guinea-Bissau and Senegal.
    In this workshop, the dancer Anna M'Bengue, trained at the Conservatory of Dakar, has carried out the activity "Approach to the african dance" where she shows step by step the basis of the African dances, in a practical and playful way; in the same way the percussionist Thairou Dabo has carried out the activity "Approach to the African music" where he familiarizes the kids with the different instruments of percussion in the classrooms.
    Both activities have been scheduled directly in primary schools for pupils aged 8 to 11, during the 2016-2017 school year. It has covered more than 14 centers, reaching more than 550 children of the City.
    In this course, in addition, we have had the support of the "Municipal School of Music and Center of the Arts of L'Hospitalet - L'EMMCA" where has been carried out the activity "The sounds and values of African music "By Griot Nino Galissa of Guinea Bissau and who has given 32 workshops among more than 800 students from the school of music and students of the ESO (11 to 12 years) of educational centers in Hospitalet that have moved to L'EMMCA.

    We will be able to enjoy the report of Albert Pintó, director of the feature film "To kill God" and teacher of the CHESSMAN and we will develop the 3 premises of the short ones elaborated in 48 hr
    In the presentation of the festival we will announce the three premises of the MetropoL'His:
    -A location of L'Hospitalet
    -An action or an object
    -And a sentence
    One of the premises will be subject to poll, so that the assistants will be able to value which is the one that they like more

    Last days of the GlobaL'H!

    Tuesday 10 of October is the last day to give the short ones of the category GlobaL'H! Hurry! The first prize could be yours!

    The GlobaL'H is the international category of short of cooperation, culture of peace, the communal life and the Human Rights.
